The Secretariat of EFI is comprised of young dynamic people who have experience in European Affairs, Public Affairs, Law and Diplomacy. This well-motivated team sees this initiative as a huge and useful challenge for improving the relations between Europe and Israel.

Dimitri DOMBRET, Director of EFI. Dimitri Dombret is graduated in Political Science and International Relations (MA) from the Universities of Liege (Belgium), Brussels (Belgium) and Tel-Aviv (Israel). Dimitri Dombret lived and worked in the Middle-East (at the Belgian Embassy in Tel-Aviv, Israel) before beginning his career at the European Parliament as an Assistant to a Belgian MEP, Mrs. Frederique Ries, and then at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Belgium where he was the Advisor for International Affairs to the State Secretary for European and Foreign Affairs. He then worked several months as a Consular Attaché at the Belgian Mission to the UN in New-York. Dimitri Dombret joined EFI and has been appointed Director in 2006.
