EFI welcomes the initiative taken by some Members of its Steering Committee in order to stop the Iranian Regime from Developing Nuclear Weapons.

This appeal signed by more than 130 Members of the European Parliament and Members of National Parliaments calls upon the EU and its Member States to fully implement UN Security Council Resolution 1747 and to encourage all European business to disengage from economic activities in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Paulo Casaca, Member of EFI, will host a Press Conference with his Colleagues co-authors of this Open Letter at the European Parliament in Strasbourg on Wednesday 5 September 2007 at 10.00 (room LOW N-1/201).
