On Tuesday, 2^nd of October 2007, Jana Hybaskova, MEP, Chairwoman of the Delegation for relations with Israel, hosted a meeting at her office in the European Parliament in Brussels between the Delegation of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee of the Knesset and some Journalists.

The Israeli delegation was compromised of MP Tzachi HANEGBI, Chairman of the Committee, MP Limor LIVNAT, MP Colette AVITAL, MP Yuval STEINITZ and the Israeli Ambassador to the European Union Mr. Ran CURIEL. Mrs. Hybaskova told the Israeli MPs about EFI – the group of European MEPs who support Israel through diverse ranges of actions such as the Mission to Israel in July 2007, press Conferences, Meetings, etc. Mrs. HYBASKOVA welcomes the presence of Israeli MEP’s at the European Parliament and emphasized on the importance of this kind initiative to strengthen the ties between the European Union and Israel.
