The two French lawyers of Guilad SCHALIT and its family, Emmanuel ALTIT and Stéphane ZERBIB were present around the deputy and vice-president Rudy SALLES, as well as Dimitri DOMBRET, director of EFI (European Friends of Israel), who came to represent the support of the members of the European Parliament. At the occasion of this conference, Rudy SALLES stressed the fact that the French hostage Guilad SCHALIT is retained in violation of any moral: indeed, all the laws and International Conventions were violated. The lawyers, when the conference in Annapolis appears to be bearing fruit, and / or France and Europe have expressed their desire to get involved in a significant way in resolving the conflict and the development of the negotiation, wish their client Guilad SCHALIT, kidnapped at 19 years old in Israeli territory and held since then without anyone has been able to visit him, is not forgotten.

Chemla/GIN They call on the French authorities as well as on the European authorities: To require from their Palestinian interlocutors evidence of life and health status of Guilad SHALITTo require guarantees about his detention’s conditionThe possibility for him to meet with representatives of the family (lawyers), the Red Cross and other NGOs. The lawyers call for the release of Guilad SCHALIT to be a condition of EU aid and French direct or indirect involvement in Palestinian institutions.
Finally, many Mayors have already expressed their desire to affix the portrait of French citizen Guilad SCHALIT alongside that of Ingrid BETANCOURT.
